Butter Pecan Chai Latte

Inspired by the ancient trade routes of the Silk Road, Spice and Silk is a warming, indulgent chai designed to be the perfect dessert serve. It blends rich spices, creamy almond milk infused with buttered pecans, and a touch of maple sweetness — evoking the opulence and storytelling of distant lands.

Ingredients

4 · Twinings Classic Chai Tea Bags ​

50g · Chopped Pecans

30g · Unsalted Butter ​

480ml · Almond Milk

5 · Caramom Pods

1 · Star Anise

Pinch of sea salt ​

1 tbsp · Organic Pure Maple Syrup ​

1/2 tsp · Ground Cinnamon

Garnish

​Black Cocoa Powder​

Edible Gold Sugar

Method

1. Toast the base
Melt butter, toss in chopped pecans, and toast for 2 minutes until golden and nutty.

2. Spice it up
Pour in almond milk, then add cardamom, star anise, sea salt, maple syrup, and cinnamon.

Warm gently, simmer 5 minutes for full-on flavour.

3. Strain & smooth
Sieve out the spices for silky spiced milk.

4. Brew the chai
Steep 2 Twinings Chai tea bags in 200ml freshly boiled water for 5 minutes.

5. Froth & finish
Hand-whisk or use a milk frother to whip the spiced milk until airy. Pour over chai, and let the layers mingle.

Feeling fancy? Finish with a dusting of edible gold sugar and a delicate
line of black cocoa powder
